Shahab Mokhtare, MD
Physician Educator
After attaining a bachelor of science from the University of California Irvine, Dr. Mokhtare earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, one of the largest medical educators in the world.
He went on to complete a family medicine residency at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine, followed by training and certification in age management medicine at the Foundation for Healthy Aging. He works directly with the Foundation and Board in creating science based modules and educational content for the Clinical Strategies for Healthy Aging course.
Early in his career, Dr. Mokhtare realized his passion for preventive medicine and patient care. As Medical Director for a preventive home health company and Physician Partner to a large executive health medical practice, Dr. Mokhtare is committed to ongoing clinical education and advancements in the field of preventive medicine.
Committed to walking the walk, Dr. Mokhtare is an avid CrossFit athlete who follows a Paleolithic nutritional diet. His goal is to guide patients to a new level of health and fitness, helping them stave off age-related disease.
